Students looking for employment, please check out the ‘Jobs’ binder in Counseling. There are many new opportunities at places such as Rolling Hills Water Park, Washtenaw Co. Road Commission, and other local Dexter businesses. 
The Spanish department is organizing a Spain trip for June of 2021. If you’ve taken at least a year of Spanish and are interested, there will be an informational meeting next Wednesday, February 19 at 7pm in room 406. Contact Ms. Mendez or Ms. Kur with questions. 
Attention DHS!  The high school improv troupe, Off-Q, will be performing THIS friday in the CPA at 7pm!  Tickets are just $5 at the door! Start the weekend off right with some laughs with friends!
The Red Cross and the NHS blood drive committee are hosting a blood drive! It takes place Wednesday, the 19th, in the DHS library. To sign up, visit redcrossblood.org and select the drive held February 19th at DHS. We still have several remaining slots open and will also be accepting limited walk-in appointments. See Ms. Straub if you have any questions. Have a heart and donate to save a life!
This Friday the men’s and women’s basketball teams are playing at Chelsea.  Everyone wear black to school on Friday to show your support. The women’s game starts at 5:30
Anyone interested in playing badminton and having some fun with friends? Badminton club is meeting on Wednesday in the commons from 3-4. We look forward to seeing you!
The Dreadbots are having a bake sale on Tuesday and Wednesday after school on the catwalk! Buy some baked goods to help support the team!

Just a quick reminder that applications for the National Honor Society are due by Friday to Mrs. Marsh–they will not be accepted after the 11:30 AM deadline on Friday, Feb. 14.

Attention DHS!  The winter musical, Fiddler on the Roof, is here!  You have one remaining weekend to be sure to come out and support  over 100 students involved in this production! Performances are this weekend, Friday and Saturday at 7pm, and Sunday at 2pm, right here at Dexter High School in the CPA.  Tickets can be purchased at the door and are just 10 dollars for students! 
Attention Women in Science: We will be doing a fun Chemistry Valentine’s Lab at 7:15am this Friday in Mrs. Jones’ room – hope to see you there!

Science Bowl will hold practice TWICE this week in Mrs. Jones’s room, on Tuesday and Thursday after school.  Please bring your competition forms to practice if you want to be able to compete!
Iron Dread SC will be open tomorrow afternoon 2/14 from 11:35am-12:35 pm morning session will run as normal.

Starting today, Study Hour will be held on Mondays in the Media Center from 3:00-4:30. Seniors in the NHS will be there to help you get on top of your homework and get the grades you want this semester. If you just want a quiet place to study, come and work alone or with a group of friends. We hope to see you at Study Hour today after school.
